How do you rate someone's importance in your life? Is it the happiness which you find when you are with him/her or is it the pain you take in when he/she is not around and you miss his/her presence? And if it is any of these, how do you judge if the pain prevails over happiness or it's the other way round? Apart from the material happiness which we find in the luxuries of the world is there anything which gives you pleasure? Is it only the people we have in our life? And how important are these people and this happiness for our survival? Do the creatures other than human being find it hard to survive because they are numb to these humanistic emotions? Are they not efficiently performing their job and yet breathing without being interlocked in these entanglements? Are the animals equally devastated and traumatized when they lose their dear ones, if they actually have? Why don't the pleasant memories make you as happy as the bitter memories make you sob? Would not the world have been a better place if we all were just numb?
